Refund and Returns Policy

Refund Policy for The ACFB Fund's Programs

At The ACFB Fund, we are committed to providing high-quality services to individuals seeking Psychological and Clinical services. As part of our dedication to transparency and fairness, we have established the following refund policy for our programs:

  1. No Refunds Policy: We do not provide refunds of any sort for any of our programs. Once an individual or their parent/guardian/caregiver has enrolled in a program and payment has been processed, no refunds will be issued except under the exceptionsl circumstances outlined below.

  2. Payment Plan Commitment: Individuals who choose to participate in a payment plan for our programs are entering into a commitment to fulfil all scheduled payments. If an individual or their parent/guardian/caregiver fails to complete the payment plan for any reason, they will not be eligible for a refund of the amounts already paid.

  3. Understanding Commitment: By enrolling in one of our programs or opting for a payment plan, individuals or their parent/guardian/caregiver acknowledge and agree to our no-refund policy, including the provision that incomplete payment plans do not qualify for refunds.

  4. Quality Assurance: The ACFB Fund is committed to delivering comprehensive and professional servicers by qualified professionals. In the rare event of dissatisfaction with our services, we encourage individuals or parents/guardians/caregivers to communicate directly with us so we can address any concerns or issues promptly.

  5. Exceptional Circumstances: While refunds are not standard practice for any of our programs or payment plans, we acknowledge that exceptional circumstances may arise. In such cases, decisions regarding refunds will be made at the discretion of The ACFB Fund’s management team on a case-by-case basis.

  6. Contact Us: For any questions, clarifications, or concerns regarding our refund policy or the programs we offer, individuals or parents/guardians/caregivers are encouraged to contact our customer service team at info@acfbfund.org.nz. We are here to assist and ensure a positive experience for all participants in our programs.

This refund policy is effective immediately and applies to all enrolments in The ACFB Fund’s programs as listed on https://acfbfund.org.nz . We reserve the right to update or modify this policy at any time, with any changes being communicated to all stakeholders accordingly.

About Us

A Change For Better (ACFB) is a web-based platform for members of the public and mental health professionals alike. ACFB is a safe place to learn, interact, and gain support. 

Recognizing that significant change can take time, ACFB provides members with tools and support to achieve sustainable change in their lives.

The ACFB Fund was born out of the idea that with power of community, we can create a self-sustainable means for those who need mental health support and psychological assessments. Funded by ACFB and private donations and assessment fees, the ACFB Fund hopes to grow to help as many Kiwis as possible.

If you are looking for autism related funding through NASC/ Whaikaha then this is not the assessment for you at this time.

Whaikaha have changed their minds after years of accepting telehealth diagnoses and have said our diagnoses no longer meet their long list of strict criteria. We will be providing support to those who already received a diagnosis with us but are not sure about going forward if we will continue the higher requirements now set forth by Whaikaha. 

In the meantime, we are advocating to anyone and everyone who might be able to help us and would love your support as well. Please make a complaint. You can find more information on the Whaikaha website here.
